Incoming make-up air heating at an industrial manufacturing facility.
Perth, Ontario, Canada · Documented historical installation
← Global projects
Engineering the right source of useful heat.
A site-specific installation or documented project scope, with design versus reported outcomes clearly separated.
The challenge
An industrial manufacturing operation required fresh air for its building and sought to reduce conventional fuel used to heat that outdoor ventilation air.
The solution
The SolarWall Global case study describes a collector integrated with the make-up air supply. The incoming air is warmed directly by solar energy before it enters the building.
Published outcomes
The published case describes reductions in heating fuel demand and the site’s energy strategy. A specific independently verified annual numerical saving was not provided on the source page reviewed, so none is claimed here.
